Carmen LoTurco

Carmen LoTurco joined the Lone Rock Foundation in June of 2021 as General Manager. Carmen leaves behind traditional hospitality, in order to support future possibilities, by creating memorable and transformative spaces that evolve the education community. Leading the Lone Rock Retreat is an ultimate honor and the perfect marriage of her operations and people building capabilities.

Carmen is a visionary leader with over 25 years of experience in both Operations and Human Resources in both branded and independent hotels. In her 18 years with Sage Hospitality, she served as VP of Operations, and lastly served as SVP of Human Resources, where her focus was on Sage’s Employer Brand, talent acquisition and leadership development programs.

Carmen’s experience provides a dynamic perspective and authentic approach into building and inspiring empowered teams that drive operational excellence and care about the mission at hand.

Carmen loves to travel, the arts. cooking and spending time in the great outdoors. As someone who thrives with a rare disease, the below words from Frida Kahlo inspire and guide her daily.
